I recently experienced a potential toll road scam. I received numerous text messages over the course of a few weeks claiming that I had unpaid tolls. Originally, this made sense to me because I had in fact recently driven through a potential toll road. After reading the text over it looked a bit sketchy so I went to the website of the toll road and learned that in fact they never send out texts regarding the tolls and that there was a recent scam going around using these texts. This is a scam because of the financial requirements they wanted me to meet.
